I enjoyed watching her step out of her comfort zone while on tour. She’s introverted and the job challenges her. She’s fun, innocent in ways, and even awkward at times, making me like her even more. I was so sad reading about Indie’s family situation and I loved her more for everything she was doing to help the situation. She has a reason to take the job and she isn’t backing down. Indie is a strong, confident heroine who stands her ground. The journey to healing is a dark and desperate one but well worth it if he can get the girl in the end. He is troubled, pained, and has a lot to overcome before he can be the man he wants to be. I was my own downfall, and deep down, I knew it. I was a semi-automatic weapon, fully loaded and ready to fire. I felt his pain and regret but sometimes when you are in too deep it feels impossible to escape the situation you’re in and I felt that with Alex. He had to adapt to the demands of the stardom and after his heart is crushed he went off the rails. There is much more to him than what is on the surface. He is hard, wild, out-of-control, and an unapologetic asshole. Shen has a knack for writing heroes who you think will be too much to handle yet we can’t help but love. But in the end it will piece you back together in a better, more complete way that will send your heart soaring, and I loved it!
